Daniela and Dakota got married in early summer and choose the Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg as the backdrop to their wedding day. They designed an intimate celebration and shared their day with family members at one of the larger group sites in the park. Before the ceremony, we spent time together for couples photos around the newly landscaped area adjacent to The Leaf. The trees were still in blossom and everything was fresh and bright green at the start of summer.

Dana & Dakota incorporated traditions that were important to them and celebrated their cultures together with family. Their ceremony including special readings, a smudge ceremony, and the traditional smashing of the glass. The afternoon was so lovely for how intentional these two planned their ceremony and wedding day.
