Kristjana + David | Late Summer

Kristjana & David celebrated their wedding day with family and friends at the Ralph Connor House in Winnipeg. These two were looking for a relaxed day where they could slow down and enjoy their time with their loved ones. We started our day together at Munson Park – a little park just a short drive away. It’s a hidden gem in the neighbourhood filled with old romantic trees that provide an amazing backdrop for photos. After the park, we headed to the house where we met with immediate family to have group photos done before the ceremony. 

Jana & David planned to do the legal portion of their ceremony inside the house before gusts arrived with their intimate wedding party of two, making the moment extra special. Mother Nature cooperated for the day and the ceremony was held in the backyard of the the house, a friend provided piano music, and cocktail hour followed the beautiful ceremony. Family & friends provided entertaining speeches after dinner and Jana & David cut into a gorgeous 3 tier wedding cake decorated with shimmering gold details. The night’s activities included a playlist of K&D’s favourite songs, a couple of disco balls, and silver streamers to set the mood of the dance floor.

She made us feel at ease with her relaxed nature and amusing prompts. She also quickly adapted to situations as they were unfolding, and somehow, always remained discreet while setting up lighting equipment, and taking hundreds of pictures.

In addition to the “classic” wedding shots, Jenn also captured so many beautiful candid moments, which will allow us to look back on unique details from the day. We love the final photo collection she curated for us, and we are so pleased to be able to share it with our friends and family.
