Alexis & Gary Summer Engagement

Here’s a peek into Alexis & Gary’s fun summer engagement session in South Osborne, Winnipeg! This lovely couple opted for a cozy neighbourhood park for the backdrop for their engagement photos. It was the perfect spot close to home that would give them a beautiful summer backdrop to their photos!

After running around the park, we walked over to the nearby Bridge Drive In (BDI), where we had some fun on the bridge together. The Winnipeg icon gave us a classic urban vibe which was a nice contrast to the natural setting of the park. It was important to Alexis & Gary that we captured moments that felt relaxed and natural – so I gave them playful prompts to help get their mind off the camera and back on to each other. This is always my favourite way to help couples relax and enjoy their experience!

As the afternoon unfolded we wrapped up our adventure on the basketball courts near their home. Alexis & Gary showed me all their best moves – which was more than entertaining to watch. This basketball courts is a place they like to go to often which gave another layer of special meaning to their photos. A&G’s laid-back approach made for a relaxed and enjoyable session, filled with genuine moments and lots of laughter.
