Take a peek at this gorgeous winter Winnipeg engagement session with Katy and Evan at Assiniboine Park. These two love birds were eager to have a couples photo session before their upcoming spring wedding – to get a feel for what it would be like in front of the camera. We had lots of fun embracing the sunny winter landscape! What I loved the most was that Katy and Evan brought along a few special touches to make their session truly unique and meaningful to them.

One of the thoughtful additions to their engagements session was that Katy brought along a second outfit. It was a vintage coat belonging to her grandma. This sentimental touch infused their session with deep meaning, honouring cherished memories while creating new ones together too.

Half way through our shoot, K&E enjoyed a cozy outdoor coffee moment, sipping from their sweet art coffee mugs. As they savoured the warmth of their brew the morning sun cast a gorgeous golden glow. During their coffee break, we had a surprise visit from a redheaded woodpecker which was pretty neat to see!

K&E’s engagement session took us through various picturesque spots in the park, with each area offering its own unique charm. We began in the Leo Mol Gardens, then ventured to the nearby wooded trails, and finally ended up in front of the open fields by the Pavilion.

Throughout their session, Katy and Evan prioritized candid feeling moments, allowing their thoughtful & kind personalities to shine through. Stay tuned for their spring wedding coming up later this year!
