Dorchester Residence Winnipeg

Residential Interior Photography

This Crescentwood 2 1/2 storey residence was built in 1912 in Winnipeg by Hooper & Hooper Architects. In the 90’s the house was occupied by a group of artists; they named the house “the painted house” and painted every room with vibrant colours.

Today, the current owners Mark & Aaron have made the house their own – perhaps with a more subdued choice in paint colours. This Plant Biologist and Architect creative duo have converted their upstairs space into their pottery making studio, which they have fittingly named. ‘Painted House Pottery’. Currently you can find some of PHP’s pottery goods at local shops in Winnipeg and soon to also be available on their website.
