Family sessions are designed to invite you to relax and go with the flow. Your session will have a focus on capturing real moments. This means we are not going to spend a lot of time fussing or posing you.
I will help guide you through the entire process, but we will spend most of our time letting your session unfold as naturally and organically as possible.
The unplanned, in-between moments are the ones you'll want to be able to remember in all the years to come.

After almost a decade of photographing so many amazing families, I have a wonderful list of tried and tested locations to offer as ideas for each season throughout the year.
When we connect about your session date, we'll chat about ideal times for natural light if you are choosing an outdoor location.
Indoor studio settings are also available and need to be booked with advanced timing to ensure we can fit you into the shared studio booking calendar.
Family Photography Location Choice
Your session will be about getting everyone feeling relaxed and comfortable. I’ll be there to gently guide you into positions that feel good. I’m there to give direction and find those flattering angles and perspectives.
Remember, all you need to do is enjoy being with the people that mean the most to you.
You’ll receive a mixture of relaxed candid photos and some natural feeling group photos too!

You can classify me as a wedding photographer, designer, dog & cat mama, and of course - the expert kitchen mess-maker in our home.
I live in Winnipeg with my husband and our two furbabes. My main passions are gardening, enjoying a delicious beer on the patio, and obsessing over my amazing clients and documenting their stories.
Since my first family session back in 2015, I’ve been hooked on documenting human connection and the relationships we share with loved ones. • What Should We Wear to our Family Session?
Wear what makes you feel the most comfortable! These are your photos and what you wear should make you feel good. Consider having outfits from the same family of colours. Nothing has to be matchy-matchy but complimentary colours and/or neutrals are always a great choice.
• How Will We Get Our New Family Photos?
All photo collections are delivered via online gallery with high resolution downloads, web-sized downloads & full print release - you can print your own photos. There’s also a built-in store option if you see print products you’d like to order from my site. FYI - prints are sent to high quality labs that work with professional photographers - printing through the online store guarantees top notch print quality. Your gallery site is beautifully designed and easy-peasy to use and share with your friends and family.
Family Sessions begin at $500 + tax. Multiple packages to choose from.
