Winnipeg Exchange District | Cibo Cafe Waterfront Wedding

Aaron + Mark

Aaron & Mark planned an amazing full wedding weekend, their ceremony and brunch reception was held at the Cibo Cafe patio, followed by a disco ball / fuzzy peaches / mimosa-themed dance party in the afternoon… and a whole other next day event for a family BBQ out in Anola Manitoba. It’s no wonder these two incorporated just a few events into their wedding – because their circle of loved ones is so incredibly large, likely due to the fact that they are two of the kindest souls on the planet. They also know how to light up any room, make you smile, and always bring the party with them!

We started the morning off with a few candid ‘getting ready’ photos at the Mere Hotel before exploring the Exchange District’s sidewalks and rooftops for couples photos. Mother Nature had given us a perfectly misty day and everything felt fresh. We took our time to create meaningful moments together, soaking up little pieces of the Exchange along our way. And yes, mini champagne bottles were definitely ‘popped’ to highlight the occasion!

The outdoor ceremony was perfectly planned out (thanks to Aaron’s background in design & architecture)… with specially-ordered slick transparent black chairs for the guests, gorgeous floral arrangements – with Manitoba sourced flowers, and the multiple biodegradable confetti cannons that went off to conclude the emotional and beautiful ceremony. After brunch was served, the dance floor was non-stop bumpin’ until the guests headed out for the day to continue on with the after party.
