A Day Full of Emotion, Summer Light & Intentional Moments

The day began slowly, with Cortney and Michael getting ready in separate rooms — each filled with natural light and vintage detail. Their first look took place outdoors, surrounded by summer greenery and quiet anticipation.

The indoor ceremony was heartfelt and emotional. Truly — not a dry eye in the house. Afterward, guests moved outdoors for cocktails on the lawn, surrounded by summer greenery. Then, they returned indoors for a cozy dinner in the private dining rooms. Later in the evening, the lower level transformed into a lively dance floor, full of joy and movement. All in all, it was the kind of day that felt effortless and deeply personal.

Engagement Story & Personal Touches

I first met C&M during their spring engagement session around South Osborne — complete with BDI treats, park strolls, and some cat cuddles at home. It’s always a joy working with people who are playful, grounded, and deeply connected… and let’s be honest, I seem to attract cool cat couples and I’m not mad about it.
