Weddings can produce a lot of extra waste, so always choosing to minimize the impact on our environment is always best. Plastic confetti will basically never break down. So be sure to choose natural and biodegradable options such as flower petals, leaves, or even birdseed, that will decompose naturally.

2. Communicate with Your Guests

Additionally, ensure that your guests are aware of when and how to throw the confetti. This is so important! They are the ones that will be truly creating the moment for you. By making sure they know the details, it will help ensure your moment is seamless!

How can you do this? You can include instructions on your wedding program or have your officiant make the announcements. The announcements can happen at the start of the ceremony and again before the throwing begins.
