Angie & Justin’s Engagement

Hecla Island Summer Couples Photos at Sunset Beach

Angie and Justin celebrated their engagement at Hecla Island for a couples photo shoot at Sunset Beach. Against a backdrop of summer sunshine, we had some good fun walking along the sandy shores. With gentle guidance, A&J’s engagement session was an afternoon that felt authentic and true to them. Hecla Island is such a special piece of Manitoba. It never fails to offer picturesque landscapes and serene surroundings that set the perfect scene for capturing precious moments. From the tranquil beaches to the lush greenery, every corner of this island provided a stunning backdrop for their photo shoot.

We chose midday for the time of their session to fit into their busy weekend schedule of family time and glamping activities. Photographing in mid-summer in the middle of the day when the sun is at its highest is always a fun challenge! Needless to say, we were all definitely a little thirsty by the end of the session. What I loved the most about Angie & Justin’s engagement session was how easily they shared laughter together over quiet, in-between jokes and stories. For A&J, their engagement session wasn’t just about posing for pictures. It was about celebrating their love story in a place that holds meaning to them. As a photographer, there’s nothing more fulfilling than being able to capture such authentic moments of connection and joy.

Hecla Island holds a special place in my own heart. So whether it’s an engagement session or a milestone celebration, I’m always excited to help turn capture special memories! If you’re looking to capture your own special milestones at Hecla or any other beautiful location in Manitoba, I’d love to chat and see how we can create unforgettable moments together. Let’s turn your vision into reality and create stunning photographs that tell your unique story!
