Exchange District Engagement Session in Winnipeg

Ready for something fun? Take a peek at this Exchange District engagement session with Lauren & Brock from this past fall! We roamed the area to seek out the distinct charm of the Exchange and found so many unique spots for their engagement photos. From the old train bridge, to all the historic building backdrops, to the amazing rooftop views of the Exchange – every location we visited added to the magic of their session. Despite the weather being a tad chilly for early fall in Winnipeg, we managed to keep warm with some fun, laid back prompts to keep everybody moving and feeling cozy!

Lauren and Brock were interested in having a fun and relaxed engagement session where they could feel like themselves – which is exactly what we focused on! I love how their personalities shine through in all of their images. I whole heartedly believe that we should always tailor your engagement session to you – so you have photos that feel true to you and your partner! I will always strive to match the energy you bring to the shoot, and give you ideas and activities that feel genuine to you.

We capped off L&B’s engagement session with a delicious celebratory toast at Nonsuch Brewery where we took some time to connect again and chatted about their upcoming wedding plans. There’s nothing I love more than couples who enjoy getting organized and brainstorming the perfect timeline for their wedding day! And hey – is there any better way to end an engagement session than with a little cheers!? I don’t think so! Very excited to celebrate Lauren and Brock’s big day at Fort Whyte later this summer!
