Winter Engagement Session at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg

Here’s a glimpse into this winter wonderland engagement session at Assiniboine Park with Maria & Izzy. The morning at the park was filled with a beautiful snowfall that added so much magic to their engagement session. With their two adorable dogs, Luna and Leo, the park became a gorgeous backdrop for their playful love. Maria & Izzy reached out to me after their friends Arpita & Matt had their own engagement session with me earlier in the year – also with their furbabe! So yes, you bet I will always be down to photograph you and your pups!

Despite the chilly Winnipeg weather, the snowy landscape created a true sense of a Winnipeg winter wonderland. I also love how Maria & Izzy coordinated their winter outfits to have pops of colour in their toques and mitts – showcasing a little piece of their fun personalities. Their session was a delightful mix of romance and whimsy, capturing the essence of their love amidst the snowy backdrop.

As we explored the park, Maria & Izzy embraced the joy of the winter season and the beauty of nature around them. Their two pups braved the snow and we got some really cute winter photos of all four of them together. Don’t forget, your pets are always welcome to join us and can make your engagement session feel extra special! If you’d like more tips on how to include your pets into your engagement session – check out my recent blog post here.

I absolutely love Assiniboine Park for engagement sessions because no matter the time of year – there are always lots of great spots within walking distance to give you a great variety for your photo backdrops. Scroll for more snowy goodness with these cuties!
